A two seat, two door coupé with a bonded aluminium structure for strength and lightness. The engine which was unique to Aston Martin, was front mid mounted with a rear mounted transaxle, giving a 49/51 front/rear weight distribution. It also featured race style dry sump lubrication, which enabled the engine to be mounted low in the chassis for an improved centre of gravity.
Aston Martin not only thought about power and speed but stopping too and fitted slotted Brembo brakes as standard.

Instantly recognisable and is still one of the most beautiful cars on the road today. With the reputation of being one of the best Astons ever built, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is way beyond just a cool car. Even Top Gear’s ‘Cool Wall’ wasn’t good enough for the Aston and found itself with its bigger brother in their own spot, a little fridge called the DB9 section.
With a normally aspirated quad cam 32-valve 4.3 V8 producing 380 hp at 7,300 rpm, 302 lb⋅ft at 5,000 rpm, a truly blistering 0 to 60 time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 175mph. Whilst this may not appeal to the faint hearted, the Vantage drives exceedingly well as an everyday car and is more than happy pootling around town as it is on those continental road trips, arguably the best British GT car.
With its almost even front to rear weight distribution and the use of lightweight materials in its construction, the V8 Vantage is stunningly well balanced.

Sitting in the driver’s seat, the cockpit just exudes quality, luxury and simplicity with absolutely no signs of wear and tear, this car has clearly been well loved, cared for and represents one of the best examples we have seen to date.
The original factory paint is unmarked with the addition of the optional extra from new of Armourfend clear paint protection film, which has clearly done its job superbly.
