           t Classic Heroes we are noticing that the enthusiasm for the E30 Convertible is constantly growing and the demand for quality unmolested cars is continuingly out stripping the ability to supply. We are always pleased to see an old friend return to us for sale, this one in particular as falls into one of the very best and a car that is well known to us here at Classic Heroes. We know and have good relationships with the last two fastidious owners of this car. This sat alongside an extensive and very high-quality car collection before we sold it onto the current owner. The current owner approached us with very specific instructions to find him only the very best in the UK and we certainly cracked that with this car.

The E30 is still one of the smartest convertibles and together with the superb E30 chassis, build quality and of course one of the finest BMW straight sixes, you can see why.

 

This example represents one of the most genuine and unmolested examples that we have seen for some time. The car was first registered 11th May 1992 and ordered in Brilliant Red paint with full black leather, sports leather steering wheel, rear headrests and originated from Chandlers BMW in Brighton.

 

Now having covered only 40,000 miles from new, in the caring hands of just three previous owners, this exceptionally original example features a fully stamped service book and documented history. Accompanying this superb service history is a very well-prepared folder with extensive supporting documents, invoices and the original bill of sale. The service book is still presented in the original wallet with all handbooks and spare keys.

 

The car has benefited from our normal vigorous workshop inspection and will be presented to the lucky new owner having undergone the following preparation work ensuring this wonderful car is ready for daily use.

New Battery, New Cam Belt and Pulley, New Thermostat and Header Tank Cap. An Inspection II service was carried out at 36,750 miles.

  • Replace bonnet sound deadening

  • Remove front fog lights, clean out, dry and reassemble

  • Replace front roll bar dive 

  • Replace rear roll bar dive links

  • Replace low pressure PAS reservoir hose clips

  • Issue new MOT
