he first generation of BMW 4 series was launched in 2013 and proved very popular across the US and European markets. They were produced in 2 door coupe, convertible and 4 door GT. The range had varying engine formats covering both petrol and diesel, from 3 cylinder to straight 6, single and twin turbocharged units. In 2014 BMW introduced the F82/F83 M4 models, F82 being the coupe and F83 a convertible. Both were powered by the S55 twin-turbocharged 3.0 litre straight six engine and depending on which model, power ranged from a 425bhp, 550nm of torque in the base models through to a staggering 493bhp, 600nm of torque in the GTS model.
