Despite how strong the love affair, sometimes one needs a change. This was the case with this Z3 M Roadster.
After purchasing the M Roadster from me 18 years ago it was an incredibly tricky decision. I had spotted Roger’s itchy feet over the last 18 months or so and knew it would be an incredibly emotional decision, if the Z3 M Roadster was to be put up for sale. Having been through this journey with many, many customers over the years I was convinced that like so many others, once the old toy was out of sight, and the new toy was at home in the garage, the pain would stop very quickly.
The M Roadster was booked in for her annual service and check over. We saw his eyes light up immediately when he was greeted by this Carmon Red with Sand Beige leather Porsche 997 Turbo Tiptronic parked outside my office. It really was instant attraction. The car was almost the identical colour combination to a BMW E30 325i Convertible purchased by him brand new in Switzerland 29 years ago. He had always talked about wanting to own a Porsche Turbo one day, and that colour combination pulled at his heart strings.
We are thrilled that the deal was done and now sitting in his garage is this stunning, one owner from new, Porsche 997 Turbo. I was right, no pain no gain!
This is the other great part of our job here, it’s not just about the car. He and his wife have been customers and good friends for over 20 years. This is the third car that he has bought from us and the sixth car that we maintain for him. We are terribly proud of these very long term relationships we enjoy.
The Roadster is now looking for a new home and hopefully the next owner will be as passionate as the last.
