After a long year of undertaking traffic studies, obtaining planning permission, getting building quotes and then finally being completely let down by a contractor who closed his company a week after starting work, we are now well and truly up and running.
Morale in the team is at an all time high as we start to see the fruits of our labour come to fruition as day by day our new buildings rise from the ground. After a long year of waiting, the excitement is palpable.
Our current workshop is having a 100 sq/m extension which will enable us to significantly increase capacity. This will result in us adding three new ramps and mean that we can also increase our working floor space to satisfy the demand we are seeing for high end restoration work.
Our storage facility is also expanding in the form of a new building adding a further 200 sq/m of car storage. In turn, this will free up space for a larger valeting and detailing area. The enormous gain in values seen in the classic car market over the last 10 years has increased the demand for high end secure car storage. We are already full to capacity so we now will be able to offer some more storage spaces. The Classic Heroes Collection has grown a little over the last twelve months so some of this extra storage will be needed for our own collection.
