The wanderer returns

It is fantastic to be reunited with this Lightweight after 26 years.

Seeing it again after all these years put a smile on my face as it was one of the first 3.0 CSLs that I drove and sold. The car still belongs to the same owner that I sold the car to all those years ago.

Originally bought as a company car and to used as a daily driver. The car literally did everything from the school run, driving to the office and even a once a year track day at Silverstone.

Over the next few years this Polaris silver CSL was joined by an E28 M5 and a Sport Evolution M3 and after about ten years of ownership started to take a bit of a back seat as the E28 M5 was used as the daily driver and the CSL became the fine weather, high days and holidays car.

Early this century the car underwent a restoration as part of her retirement and to take pride of place in his collection. The car simply wanted for nothing.

Our customer has recently retired and is now embarking on a world tour with his wife. After much deliberation it has been decided that after 26 years it is time for the CSL to find a new home. The car is now passing through our workshop for some detailing and fettling to take her to the very highest level.

We will be marketing this Polaris Silver, matching numbers, 3.0 CSL early 2019. Please feel free to call Barney to discuss this stunning Lightweight.
