Classic Heroes Covid-19 Update

Following on from the latest government announcements and guidelines for businesses, Jack and I have been discussing the best way forward for Classic Heroes with regard to opening and hopefully returning to a more normal routine over the next few weeks and months.

The first consideration is the safety of ourselves and our customers.  We are very fortunate to be in a rural area and to have a large outside seating area to ensure social distancing can be followed easily. The government guidelines have been followed and all the precautions taken.  Hand washing, surfaces cleaned, customers cars cleaned on delivery and prior to collection, separate offices and social distancing.  Every effort is being made to put safety first.

The disruption of closure and reopening a business is massive and therefore we want to be very cautious and get the timing right.  We have decided to have a slow, stepped path to full operation.  Initially only four of us will be returning to work.  We will then be monitoring the situation and hoping that the all important R number remains below 1, meaning the next phase of bringing  the UK closer to normal is implemented.

We are open for business and available on the phone and in person by appointment only.

Car viewings can be arranged with social distancing or virtual tour.

The workshop is running a skeleton staff initially while we monitor the situation. We will be completing a few unfinished projects and carrying out the more urgent work on customers' cars. Restoration is currently on hold until a time when the workshop can open up fully and operate more normal working conditions.

Please do not hesitate to call with any questions.
